At the annual PPAI Expo, Progressive Promotions received the prestigious Golden Pyramid Award for Consumer Programs in recognition of the fantastic job done on the campaign for Kraft Canada.
The Pyramid Awards are given to companies that are best able to assist their clients with a promotional product and campaign that will engage the consumer.
The Golden Pyramid for Consumer Programs will be added to the growing collection of awards and honors that Progressive Promotions has received since its founding in 1987. With our creativity and drive we are pleased to say that it joins the shelves alongside our previous golden pyramid and two bronze pyramids from the 2015 PPAI Awards. But what everyone is truly looking forward to are the two bears that are to be placed on either side of it.
Smoothy and Crunchy, the dynamic duo that took Canada by storm, tell a story in their commercials that could rival even the best Hallmark movie. The heart-warming story of the love that some people have for their stuffed animals, and their peanut butter, caused the Kraft peanut butter bears to sell out in two short weeks. That along with the added bonus of a little competition.
There has always been that age old question of which peanut butter do you like more, crunchy or smooth? Kraft Foods, with the added help of Progressive Promotions, has helped consumers to not only answer that question but to embrace both styles.
The competition between the bears caused the peanut butter to fly off the shelves and caused Progressive Promotions to land on the stage as golden pyramid recipients. We are proud to have been a part of such a successful campaign and we are thrilled to have such a golden start to 2016.
